FAQ
Fees, deposits and how escrow releases are settled.
Xcal charges 1% to the seller and 1% to the buyer on every completed trade — 2% in total across both sides.
The fee is applied to the USDT amount of the trade and covers platform running costs, including settlement processing, dispute handling and hosting.
Fees come back to you. The 1% you pay accrues to your account. Once your accrued fees reach $10, that amount is credited back to you in Xcal's own blockchain coin. The coin is launching soon — your cashback will reflect automatically on the website once it is live.
Fees are only charged on trades that complete. If a trade is cancelled before the buyer pays, or a dispute is resolved in the seller's favour, the deposited USDT is returned in full with no fee deducted.
Network (gas) fees for your own wallet transactions are separate and are paid by you to the network, not to Xcal.
Sellers deposit escrow USDT on the TRON (TRC-20) network to the address below.

Send USDT on TRON (TRC-20) only. USDT sent on any other network — Ethereum (ERC-20), Polygon, BSC or otherwise — cannot be credited and will be lost. Always verify the full address character by character before sending.
Releases are handled by an automated on-chain service. Once the seller confirms the INR payment, the escrowed USDT is released to the buyer and normally arrives within 2 hours.
If a release fails for any reason — network congestion, a rejected transaction or an unavailable recipient address — the system automatically re-attempts it. A retry job sweeps all failed releases every 12 hours until the transfer succeeds, so a failed release is picked up again on its own without you having to do anything.
The trade page keeps showing the trade status while a release is pending or awaiting its next retry.
- A buyer picks a listing and starts a trade. The seller deposits the USDT to the address above.
- The buyer pays the INR amount directly to the seller using the seller's listed payment method (UPI, IMPS, NEFT or bank transfer).
- The buyer marks the trade as paid.
- The seller confirms the INR has landed in their bank account.
- The escrow service releases the USDT to the buyer, normally within 2 hours, minus the applicable fees.
Deposited USDT sits in the escrow address while a trade is in progress. Holding and releasing it is done by an automated on-chain service — the Xcal team does not custody your funds or move them by hand.
Still, treat each trade carefully: only deposit USDT for a trade you are actively settling, send it on the correct network, and keep your payment proof (UPI reference, bank transaction ID) until the release has landed in the buyer's wallet.
If the INR payment is not received, or a buyer pays and the USDT is not released, either side can raise a dispute from the trade page before the trade completes.
Provide payment proof in the trade chat — UPI reference numbers, bank statement screenshots and timestamps are the most useful evidence. Xcal reviews the chat history and resolves the dispute in favour of the buyer or the seller. The full deposited amount goes to the winner.
